Oklahoma is just one of the latest states to enact a ban on all abortion procedures. The Society of Family Planning (the Society) recently joined 17 leading medical organizations in signing an amicus brief to support the legal challenge to the Oklahoma restriction.
We are proud to see so many Society members listed as authorities in this brief. Of the abortion-related articles cited, 90% have a Society member as first author. We are grateful that the Society’s community of experts continues to serve as a trusted voice of science in advocating for policies driven by evidence.
