Stipends available for AWHONN Convention and ASRM Congress

The Society of Family Planning (SFP) strives to connect members to trainings on best clinical practices. We are pleased to announce two such opportunities.

The Association of Women's Health, Obstetric and Neonatal Nurses (AWHONN) Virtual Annual Convention
We will provide two current SFP members with stipends (maximum $349 each) to cover registration costs for the AWHONN Virtual Convention, November 1-4, 2020. Please note that there is no programming on November 3, 2020. You do not have to be an AWHONN member to attend and registration is open until the meeting begins. Complete this survey to apply for a stipend. We will prioritize those who: 1) have not previously attended, 2) do not have institutional support to attend, and 3) are passionate about encouraging collaboration between experts in nursing and family planning. If you have already registered for the Virtual Convention, you may still apply for a stipend. Survey responses must be received by 5:00pm PT on Monday, September 28. The two selected applicants will be notified by Monday, October 5.

The American Society for Reproductive Medicine (ASRM) Virtual Scientific Congress
We will provide two current SFP members with stipends (maximum $750 each) to cover registration costs for the ASRM 2020 Virtual Congress, October 17-21, 2020. You do not have to be an ASRM member to attend and registration is open until the meeting begins. Please note that stipends will cover the cost of Virtual Congress registration; Post-Graduate courses must be purchased separately at the attendee’s expense.
