Scientific abstracts
Deadline: Thursday, April 11, 2024 at 8:59pm PT/11:59pm ET
We invite scientific abstract submissions, summarizing one research study, from a range of disciplines that share the latest and best science focused on abortion and contraception. They are presented orally in groups of four or as a poster in the Exhibit Hall.

Scientific abstract submissions are open and close April 11.
Volunteer to review scientific abstracts, serve on a judging panel for oral or poster abstracts, or assist with content review as the Course Director for accreditation by March 29.

Session proposals
Session proposal submissions are closed. Notifications will be made in July.
Deadline: Wednesday, March 20, 2024 at 8:59pm PT/11:59pm ET
We invite proposals for pre-conference workshops and sessions, consisting of panels of 5-7 experts, that focus on timely family planning topics, share new and applied research findings, provide concrete solutions to common difficulties in delivering clinical care, and promise to advance just and equitable abortion and contraception informed by science.
Pre-conference workshops: 180 minutes of in-depth training. Held October 18. Plenary sessions: 75 minutes, scheduled without competing sessions. Held October 19-21. Concurrent sessions: 60 minutes, run simultaneously with other sessions. Held October 19-21.
Please note: #SFP2024 is scheduled to be in an in-person event in Detroit, MI, October 19-21. If your submission is accepted, you should be available to present in Detroit during those dates.
