Dr. Tyler is the Executive Director of the Center for Interdisciplinary Inquiry and Innovation in Sexual and Reproductive Health (Ci3) at the University of Chicago. She oversees research that addresses the social and structural determinants of adolescent sexual and reproductive health through design, narrative, play, and policy change. Her research interests focus on human centered and community-based approaches to engage adolescents and providers in the design of interventions that increase adolescent reproductive freedoms across the spectrum of contraception and abortion, and that increase provider capacity around shared contraceptive decision making. Dr. Tyler has published research in multiple journals, including Obstetrics & Gynecology, the Journal of Adolescent Health, Contraception, and the Journal of Pediatric and Adolescent Gynecology.
