I am seeking a Mid-Career Award in order to continue to mentor a multidisciplinary group of trainees interested in the provision of family planning services. My ultimate goal is to improve birth outcomes by nurturing a team of investigators who are committed to implementing interventions to ensure effective use of contraception by women whose medical condition, medication use, or limited access to health care puts them at increased risk of adverse pregnancy outcomes.
