The Society develops and endorses methodologically rigorous, evidence-based clinical guidance on abortion and contraception.
The Society serves as the home to the Implant Removal Centers of Experience Initiative, which aims to increase timely access to difficult and non-palpable contraceptive implant removal by defining, identifying, and connecting clinicians and implant users to Centers of Experience (COEs) within the US.
The Society’s Clinical Affairs Committee oversees clinical guidance by prioritizing topics, selecting authors, and reviewing and approving each document before it is submitted for publication in Contraception.
