This is a qualitative evaluation of anesthesia providers’ perspectives regarding involvement in abortion care. We aim to recruit and interview individuals from several perinatal centers around Georgia via purposive and snowball sampling. We are primarily interested in characterizing the range of anesthesia opinion and involvement in abortion provision across the state, including facilitators and barriers to abortion provision at their institution. Secondarily, we will also explore anesthesia providers’ response to the Georgia’s “20-week ban” as well as other restrictive abortion laws.
