I am a physician-scientist with dual training in pediatrics and child and adolescent psychiatry, and formal training in health services research. My work focuses on improving access to sexual and reproductive health (SRH) care for adolescents, particularly those with psychiatric conditions who face structural barriers to receiving timely and confidential services.

My research seeks to develop scalable, equity-driven approaches to integrating SRH care, including contraception and related family planning services, into adolescent psychiatric settings. While psychiatric providers often develop longitudinal, trust-based relationships with youth, SRH needs frequently go unaddressed due to structural barriers, competing demands, and lack of support within existing care systems. I aim to address this gap by designing pragmatic, system-integrated interventions that enable clinicians to identify and respond to high-impact SRH needs within routine care.

A central focus of my work is the development of electronic health record (EHR)-integrated clinical support tools that provide real-time, evidence-based guidance to clinicians. These tools are designed to facilitate efficient, developmentally appropriate, and patient-centered care without increasing burden on providers. Through this work, I seek to expand access to essential SRH services for adolescents who may not otherwise receive care, while advancing models of service delivery that are both feasible and scalable across healthcare systems.
