Science is an essential tool for ensuring access to evidence-informed and person-centered healthcare. We must build toward a future where government institutions robustly resource scientific inquiry. Public investment in abortion and contraception research has long been relatively limited, and broad-scale attacks on federal science institutions are creating broad instability around the resourcing research.

The Society advocates for federal investment in the science of and the scientists focused on abortion and contraception through:

  • Coalition efforts with medical and research colleague organizations, including  Ob-Gyn subspecialties and the Women First Research Coalition.
