Since 2017, the Society of Family Planning has compiled a yearly list of the family planning articles that have received the most attention from academics, traditional and social media, and other sources, ranked in order of their Altmetric Attention Score. 

Year after year, Society members appear on these lists as key authors. In 2023, ten Society members are featured as authors on the list of the most-talked-about family planning-related publications.
