Dr. Green is an Assistant Professor in the Departments of Population Health and Obstetrics and Gynecology at the University of Wisconsin-Madison. Her research agenda focuses on understanding the causes and consequences of racial/ethnic and nativity disparities in maternal and child health. She is particularly driven to understand why Black women, regardless of socioeconomic status, experience the worst maternal and child health outcomes of any racial/ethnic group. Dr. Green’s vision is to identify the most effective ways to transmit her research findings to policymakers in order to effect positive changes in access to family planning, particularly as it relates to reproductive justice for Black women.
