Doctoral Candidate

As a PhD student in Public and Community Health at the Medical College of Wisconsin, Ronald's research is focused on investigating disparities in the burden and outcomes of unintended pregnancy in the United States (US) and globally. From his passion to reduce maternal mortality by increasing access to postpartum long-acting reversible contraceptives (LARCs), he has since published articles in BioMedCentral (BMC) Contraception and Reproductive Medicine and BMC Women's Health among others. As a Junior Fellow at the Society for Family Planning, he intends to investigate how health technologies can innovatively increase LARC access among survivors of Intimate Partner Violence.
