Assistant Professor of Clinical Pediatrics

Lauren is a pediatric emergency medicine physician board certified in Pediatrics and Pediatrics Emergency Medicine with a Masters of Biostatistics. Her specific research focus is improving adolescent sexual and reproductive health in the emergency department (ED) setting. Specifically, she designs and tests innovative and engaging digital health platforms to increase contraceptive use among high risk adolescents. As an investigator, she has extensive experience with qualitative and quantitative data analysis, user-centered design, digital health, and ED-based trials. She is currently funded through a K23 Career Mentored Development Grant from the National Institute of Child and Health Development.
