Associate Professor, Global Women’s Health

Dr. Jennifer Tang is an Associate Professor in the UNC Department of OB-GYN. She completed her BA at Rice, her MD at Baylor, her residency at Brigham & Women's Hospital/MGH, and her Family Planning Fellowship and MS in Clinical Research at UNC. She lived in Malawi from 2012-2017, where she was involved in research, teaching, and clinical work. Her research focuses on international family planning (HIV and contraception, postpartum family planning), cervical cancer, and maternal health. Her projects have been funded by the NIH, CDC, Bill and Melinda Gates Foundation, USAID, ACOG, and World Bank.
