Chief, Section of Family Planning and Contraception Research; Associate Professor of Obstetrics and Gynecology

Dr. Haider is the Section Chief of Family Planning and Contraceptive Research at the University of Chicago. Dr. Haider provides full-spectrum obstetrics and gynecologic care and family planning and abortion services. She is also a health-services researcher seeking to address gaps in contraception access and provision resulting from provider and systematic barriers. She has several funded studies that utilize interdisciplinary approaches to test novel strategies, which aim to improve contraception provision to postpartum women and other underserved populations. Dr. Haider is an advocate for reproductive rights and works to improve women's health domestically and globally.
