Sarah Combellick is a PhD student in the Department of Sociology at the University of California, Davis. Her research examines the social dimensions of reproductive health, with a focus on understanding gendered experiences of pregnancy and abortion. Her current research project explores moral accounts of abortion in online storytelling. Sarah received an Emerging Scholars in Family Planning award from the Society of Family Planning in 2018 to study young men's attitudes and experiences with family planning, pregnancy, and abortion. She holds a BA from the University of California, San Diego and an MPH from the University of California, Berkeley.
