Assistant Professor of Obstetrics and Gynecology

Blair is a reproductive health services researcher and Assistant Professor in the Oregon Health & Science University Dept of OB/Gyn and OHSU-PSU School of Public Health and affiliated with the Instituto Nacional de Salud Publica in Mexico, where she was based for several years. Her work focuses on obstetric outcomes, maternal mortality, contraception, and abortion. Her areas of expertise include working with diverse secondary data, improving causal inference in non-randomized designs, measuring quality of care, and insurance. She served as a Peace Corps Volunteer in Senegal. Dr. Darney is committed to building research capacity through collaboration and mentorship.
