Assistant Professor of Obstetrics and Gynecology
As a physician-researcher in the Department of Obstetrics & Gynecology at Oregon Health & Science University, Maureen is focused on improving the safety and efficiency of early pregnancy care. Her primary research interest is localization and management of normal and abnormal very early pregnancy with cervix and serologic biomarkers. Her work has included accuracy of assessment of completed abortion, decision-analysis for management of undesired pregnancy of unknown location, and a cohort study of outcomes of abortion less than 7 weeks. She is the Director of the Early Pregnancy Assessment Clinic at OHSU and an NIH Women's Reproductive Health Research Scholar.
