The Society of Family Planning and the Society of Family Planning Research Fund (the Society) have a fundamental commitment to diversity, equity, and inclusion in our governance and programming.

2018 – 2021 Strategic Plan
Our Strategic Plan was a two-year collective undertaking by staff and board members that incorporates feedback and guidance from Society members and additional stakeholders.
Board of Directors
Board members are responsible for fiscal and managerial oversight of the Society including the supervision and oversight of the vision and mission of the Society. They are responsible for making decisions, delegating work, and assuring decisions are carried out in the manner intended. Board members also serve as ambassadors for the Society. The Board is essential for shaping the future of our work. We are not currently seeking new Board members.
