The Society of Family Planning (SFP) advances science in family planning, including contraception and abortion, by funding research and promoting the expansion and dissemination of family planning knowledge. SFP also seeks to cultivate a collaborative and supportive environment to foster scholarly activity and leadership in the areas of reproductive health and family planning.

North American Forum on Family Planning. With nearly 675 attendees, excellent content, and a strong scientific program, the fourth North American Forum on Family Planning — cosponsored by SFP and Planned Parenthood Federation of America and held October 12-13 in Miami, Florida — was a resounding success.

Mark your calendars: The 2015 North American Forum on Family Planning will be held November 12-16 in Chicago, Illinois. We will begin accepting submissions for scientific abstracts and conference session proposals within the next few weeks. Please check back for updates. Abstracts will be peer-reviewed by the Forum Scientific Committee, and those accepted for oral and poster presentations will be published in the September 2015 edition of Contraception: An International Reproductive Health Journal.
